10 Morrison, also known as the Fashion District Lofts, is in between Bathurst Street and Spadina Avenue. It’s a 10 storey L-shaped building that goes down Morrison Street right across the street from Saint Andrew’s Playground. In fact, the playground was a key component to the building’s design.
From the north entrance to the lobby, guests will pass through a park-like outdoor atrium that brings a slice of nature into the urban concrete structure. The atrium includes an orchard and sculpture garden with a wooden bridge that looks down on a water feature. It’s an artistic interpretation of a basic children’s playground.
Designed by Core Architects, 10 Morrison is an architectural masterpiece with cast-in-place concrete walls, floor to ceiling windows and columns with flared capitals. It houses 93 lofts and 10 townhouses.
The lofts are available in 1 and 2 bedroom suites. There are also penthouse units that boast more than 1000 sq. ft. of outdoor terrace space. The townhouses are 2 storeys high and the largest ones clock in at 1652 sq. ft. They have private gardens and ceilings exceeding 10” high on both floors.
All of the interiors in 10 Morrison were designed by the renowned Cicconi Simone. Some of the most striking features include opaque glass sliding bedroom doors, a spa-style bathroom and open concept Scavolini kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.
Located right downtown, in the heart of Toronto’s Fashion District, this is a beautiful building in a highly covetable area. At 10 Morrison, you are close to everything that makes downtown life so attractive—theatres, restaurants, bars, markets, stores and event venues like the Rogers Centre.
